Wanyimbuwanyimbu is an aural offering that explores the Aboriginal concept of everywhen — a deep-time understanding where past, present, and future exist together. In my Gathang language, wanyimbuwanyimbu means “always,” reminding us that time ripples outward, never ending. Each sound in this piece is a vibrational story, honouring our ancestors, Country as our first ancestor, and the seven generations to come. Wanyimbuwanyimbu invites listeners to land in the now, to remember, and to walk forward with reverence for all that came before and all that is still becoming.
