Nicole's poetry can be found in music, visual and sound pieces, exhibitions, on ferries, and in journals, publications and anthologies.  In 2020, Nicole was the co-recipient of the 2020 Shoalhaven Arts Board Grant for visual and literary project 20x20x12 Sensing Place, a finalist in the Meroogal Women's Art Prize and shortlisted for the 2020 Red Room Poetry Fellowship. In 2022, Nicole was a finalist in the Newcastle Poetry Prize and a 2022 and 2023 recipient of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Emerging Writers Mentorship through the South Coast Writers Centre where she is working on her first collection of poems.

Nicole's spoken word and sound poetry is held in collecting institutions.
